Good Judy’s is a queer pop-up experience created to bring together Miami’s LGBTQIA+ community and its allies for a night of connection, music, and celebration. Born from a desire to fill a gap in the city’s nightlife, the event blends relaxed lounge energy with vibrant party vibes. Named after the affectionate slang for a beloved gay bestie, Good Judy’s pays tribute to iconic Judys of all kinds—offering a playful, welcoming space to sip, dance, and feel at home.

Good Judy's at Minibar. Good Judy's is a pop-up bar concept celebrating the LGBTQ community. To fill a void they saw in Miami's nightlife scene, Norton and Braun have set out to create an experience for the community and its allies to mingle in a lounge-like space, sip craft cocktails, and dance. Good Judy's will offer a signature cocktail menu that pays homage to famous Judys of past and present: Friend of Dorothy is a ruby-red take on a Moscow mule; Dame Dench is a gin-forward French 75; and Judge Juice gives guests a choice between two signature Patrón cocktails - Plaintiff Paloma and Defendant Margarita.

Equal parts colorful, cute and queer-friendly, South of Fifth watering hole Minibar was the natural fit to house Good Judy's, a new pop-up party designed for the gays and the ladies who love them. Good Judy’s aims to fill a void the two saw in the SoBe nightlife scene by creating a space for the local LGBTQ community and allies to catch up, drink and dance in a chilled out lounge atmosphere. Paying homage to famed Judies of past and present (a “Judy” is an affectionate term for your tried-and-true gay bestie), the party slings signature cockies like the Friend of Dorothy ($9), a ruby red-tinted take on a Moscow Mule and the Dame Dench, a gin-forward French 75 ($12). Minibar's resident DJ Niko provides the vibes, playing everything from disco faves to current pop hits from 6pm to late.
